Instructed CPA’s and their staff members on use of the Lacerte tax program. Handled up to 50 calls a day; would not finish a call without resolve.

Tucson Medical Center - November 2003 to December 2006

Worked on a mental health unit with teenagers in crisis. Ensured safety of the unit. Conducted, developed and facilitated four to six groups on a daily basis. Calmly handled critical situations concerning patients on the unit.

United States Air Force - March 1996 to September 2003

Conducted eight in-processing/out-processing and first term Airmen Center briefings monthly; provided information and stress management skills to 700+ base personnel and their families. Pioneered medical group’s Skunkworks program; selected by executive staff to facilitate monthly meetings and create introduction and training for all medical group personnel. United States Air Force - June 1992 to February 1996

Selected above peers for special duty assignment as part of the Command Personal Property Disposal team; Headquarters Air Mobility Command. Redistributed over 250,000 equipment and personal property items; through command, Air Force, and local redevelopment authorities. Superior communication skills, easily interacts with executives, regulatory agencies, local community representatives and team members. Instrumental in creating the Command Personal Property Implementation Guidance; which became the catalyst for installation closure execution within command and across the Air Force. United Stated Air - April 1981 to June 1992

Major participant in the remodeling and furnishing of 550 dormitory rooms: worked closely with contractors, completing the project within given time-lines. Responsible for billeting, dormitory and temporary housing furnishings and equipment; ordering, storage, inventory and maintained a million dollar account. Developed a comprehensive system for monitoring local manufacturing items; decreasing equipment downtime by 75 percent. Close coordination with the shop service center resulted in ten critical projects completion in minimum time. Selected as squadron and wing support person of the month and quarter. Responsible for monitoring and operation of two 1,100 personal kits containing over 265 thousand units valued at 5.3 million dollars. Identified overages and processed turn-ins; preventing excesses from accumulating. Extremely knowledgeable in the policies and procedures that govern this area of responsibility. Researched technical orders, stock lists, and base supply computer products; ensured all mission capable requirements were valid and requisitioned in a timely manner. Resourcefulness and supply knowledge enabled the unit to meet assigned mission rate and stay 5 percent under delinquency rate established by command. Awarded 3 Air Force Commendation Medals and Humanitarian award
